  American officials have stated that President Joe Biden's response to the strike on the military base in Jordan will be "strong," but Washington fears provoking broader escalation with Iran. According to the television channel, the U.S. response to the attack, which resulted in the deaths of three soldiers and dozens injured, will be more powerful than previous American retaliatory strikes in Iraq and Syria, although the Pentagon and the White House are trying not to disclose their plans.   US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has warned that all Ukraine's achievements will face danger without US-approved assistance. He expressed this at a press conference with the NATO secretary-general in Washington on January 29. Blinken stressed that the passage of the aid by Congress is "vital" for activating Western partners to take all necessary actions to support Ukraine and counter Russia. Without this additional budget, we will send a strong and wrong signal to all of our adversaries that we are not serious about defending freedom, democracy.
